Friday & Sat
hello girls!
Drill stage three girls , please be reminded that Friday 20th Nov 4pm - 6pm, there's an extra drill practice as Saturday is our Drill stage three test. Also, for those who volunteered to help to sort Cambodia things out with Mrs Tang, it's at 12pm.
Saturday 21st Nov
7am - 10am. There's drill stage one practice. Please inform one another to go for the practice.
9am- 10am. There's Meet-The-Parents-Session for girls going to Cambodia.
10am - 1pm.There's Balloon Sculpting session for girls going to Cambodia.
Starting at 2pm There's DRILL STAGE THREE TEST. Please remember to wear your FULL UNIFORM and polish your boots! Revise the commands for THEORY test too! :D

Just a reminder for girls having drill stage one practice tomorrow , timing will be 9am to 12 pmm attire is school skirt and mufti. For drill stage three girls, it will be 4pm-6pm and attire is FUNCAMP09 shirt and Nco skirt. Please come and be punctual.
Also, reminder for girls involved in community badge work.
Please be at concourse on Wednesday18/11, 9.30 am for the meeting.
Attire will be gb-related shirt and nco skirt
Cambodia Pre-trip Preparation timing is changed to 10am on Wednesday 18/11, after the badgework meeting. Games for Barray High School should be ready by then because there's a dry run for the games in the afternoon.

This Week Schedule
Hey girls,
Just a reminder of this week schedule for girls going to Cambodia trip 2009 & girls training for drill stage one and three.
Tmr which is Tuesday, there will be drill stage one training from 9am to 12 pm and drill stage three training from 4pm to 6 pm.
On Wednesday, there will be a Social Justice + Empowerment Workshop (1) and planning + preparation of programme starting from 9 am for girls going to Cambodia.
On Saturday, there is Planning + Preparation for Programme and trial run for Programme for Group One for girls going to Cambodia, starting from 9am and Drill stage one training starting from 7am and drill stage three training in the afternoon after the pre-trip programme for Cambodia ends .

As written in your consent form, this Saturday (071109) is the first drill practice. It starts promptly at 2pm as the Cambodia Girls would end their activities early. Please do not be late.

Calling for NCO Volunteers
23rd December 2009 marks the SECONDARY ONE REGISTRATION in our school!
I need 8 NCO volunteers who will be available from that day from 7am - 10am, to help out with ushering the event. At the same time, you can start out by doing the Girls' Brigade 28th Coy proud but showing the new Sec. 1s and their families how boomz with are. :)

Time: 7am - 10am
Requirements: Smiling, helpful and respectful NCOs
Attire: Full Uniform
Rewards: An opportunity to shine for 28th Coy

Cambodia 2009 Pre-trip Preparation - Thursday 5 Nov CANCELLED
Dear Cambodia trippers,
Please note that the door-to-door visits for this Thursday, 5 Nov 2009 will be CANCELLED. This is because we have more than enough stuff to bring over at the present moment. :) We'll be sorting the items out on 7 Nov 2009, Saturday at 9am.

Promotion Criteria
PRIVATE TO LANCE CORPORAL (Must be attained by Oct that year)
Criteria for promotion:
1.Girls must hold service award for the year and have participated actively in company activities.
2.Girls must be 13 years old and above.
3.They must be able to do basic drill.
4.Completed Brigade Knowledge or Healthy Attitudes I Badge.
5.Shown to be responsible and reliable
6.Must have at least attained 75% attendance for all activities
7.Must not have any major disciplinary problems with the school
CORPORAL TO SERGEANT (Must be attained by June that year)
Criteria for promotion:
1.Girls must hold service award for the preceding year and have participated actively in company activities.
2.Has been a corporal for SIX (06) months.
3.Attended ONE (01) Leadership Conference in the current year.
4.Completed Drill Stage 2 Syllabus
5.Completed Brigade International or Healthy Attitudes II Badge + ONE (01) other badge
6.First-Aid Badge
7.Shown to be Responsible and reliable
8.Must have at least attained 75% attendance for all activities
9.Must not have any major disciplinary problems with the school
SERGEANT TO STAFF SERGEANT (Must be attained by Feb that year)
Criteria for promotion:
1.Girls must hold service award for the preceding year and have participated actively in company activities.
2.Has been a sergeant for SIX (06) months.
3.Attended ONE (01) Leadership Conference in the current year.
4.Attain Drill Proficiency Badge I
5.Completed Brigade International or Healthy Attitudes II Badge + ONE (01) other badge
6.First-Aid Badge
7.Shown to be Responsible and reliable
8.Must have at least attained 75% attendance for all activities
9.Must not have any major disciplinary problems with the school
Please note:
It is the responsibility of all girls to ensure that they are eligible for promotion by the appointed time. Please ensure that you have completed all necessary.
Failure of which, their promotion will be withheld from them.
All promotions have to be agreed upon by all Officers and teachers in the company.
Attendance for each year’s ATC will be a promotion consideration.

PIONEER BRIGADER BROOCH ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1.-Completion of the entire Pioneer syllabus before her 18th Birthday.
-Wearing all badges on uniform (BK, HA, S, P, E, S, Home, Church, Community, World,
Brigade International, First Aid, Expedition, Healthy Attitudes II, Service, Drill Stage 1, others)
-Senior Pin
-Pioneer Pin
2.The girl MUST know the local and international Brigade Knowledge.
3.-The submission for the Pioneer Brigader should be sent in as original copy and signed by Captain and endorsed by the School Principal.
-Form completed and signed by Captain
-Signed by Principal
-Recent photograph of the girl attached
