Praise God for a fruitful collection!
The GB Cambodia 2009 girls attended LPPC's service on 25th Oct 2009, as a team effort to collect the donations from the church. We thank God for each and everyone of you on the team - for your labor of love to God! We also thank God for His bountiful blessings. We always ask from Him, and he gives us MUCH MORE THAN WE EVER EXPECT! :D

I would like to thank all the girls who helped to shift the donations to the GB room today. On the 7th of Nov, we will be having a sorting session, and we would like to extend this session to all the girls of the company. If you'd like to earn CIP points and be a part of the Cambodia effort, please register on the GB board.

Tribute to NDP girls - Huiting & Rachel
Now that the exams are finally over and so is the marking, I have time to post on the GBblog! :)
Well, last Friday, two of our Sergeants, SG Lee Huiting and SG Rachel Leong received their certificates of participation in NDP 2009. We want to applaud them for their effort and dedication. They made many friends from other companies during NDP, and have some fantastic stories to share about their march-past, which is a privilege that does not happen every year.
It truly is a privilege to be selected as the main contingent. :) Check out their photos below, taken by Miss Ng who was at the NE Show and eagerly awaiting to snap pictures of them. Miss Tan commented on how smart the girls were and how proud she was of our company and our girls being represented.
We look forward to the next batch of girls who are willing to take proud in NDP 2010 and do the 28th proud! The contingent is not large, and it is truly a great opportunity!

- To all girls going to Cambodia, please attend the collection drive with our Anchor Church, LPPC.
- Venue: Living Praise Presbyterian Church
- Time: 8.45am
- Attire: National Tee and skirt/NCO skirt
MONDAY, 26 OCTOBER 2009 (CCA Day)
- Attire: Mufti and Skirt/NCO Skirt
- Cambodia Group 3 (Nadine, Hian Yong, Rosalyn Tan and Vanessa Poon) please assemble at the Donation Booth at 8.30am to manage the booth.
- All final proposals for the fun camp should be ready by this date.

Want to have a larger stake in planning of the various programmes lined up for 2010?Calling all NCOS!
You are cordially invited to attend our Annual General Meeting 2009 as we embark on a journey to reflect upon what has been done in 2009. You will also work alongside your JOs and Officers in the planning of activities for year 2010.
The details are as follows:
Date: 24th October 2009, Saturday
Time: 10am to 3pm
(Yes it is long but come prepared recharged for a fruitful session thoughfully planned by your JOs!)
Attire: Mufti
Reporting Officer: Miss Ng
Things to bring: Everything essential for a usual GB parade, plus a set of PT kit. We will be having a mini Captain's Ball showdown to round off the AGM! Get excited! :)
PS: Only NCOs are involved for the upcoming AGM. Attendance is actually compulsory for all. Please excuse yourself only if you have a valid reason approved by our lovely teachers in charge.

Promotion Criteria
PRIVATE TO LANCE CORPORAL (Must be attained by Oct that year)
Criteria for promotion:
1.Girls must hold service award for the year and have participated actively in company activities.
2.Girls must be 13 years old and above.
3.They must be able to do basic drill.
4.Completed Brigade Knowledge or Healthy Attitudes I Badge.
5.Shown to be responsible and reliable
6.Must have at least attained 75% attendance for all activities
7.Must not have any major disciplinary problems with the school
CORPORAL TO SERGEANT (Must be attained by June that year)
Criteria for promotion:
1.Girls must hold service award for the preceding year and have participated actively in company activities.
2.Has been a corporal for SIX (06) months.
3.Attended ONE (01) Leadership Conference in the current year.
4.Completed Drill Stage 2 Syllabus
5.Completed Brigade International or Healthy Attitudes II Badge + ONE (01) other badge
6.First-Aid Badge
7.Shown to be Responsible and reliable
8.Must have at least attained 75% attendance for all activities
9.Must not have any major disciplinary problems with the school
SERGEANT TO STAFF SERGEANT (Must be attained by Feb that year)
Criteria for promotion:
1.Girls must hold service award for the preceding year and have participated actively in company activities.
2.Has been a sergeant for SIX (06) months.
3.Attended ONE (01) Leadership Conference in the current year.
4.Attain Drill Proficiency Badge I
5.Completed Brigade International or Healthy Attitudes II Badge + ONE (01) other badge
6.First-Aid Badge
7.Shown to be Responsible and reliable
8.Must have at least attained 75% attendance for all activities
9.Must not have any major disciplinary problems with the school
Please note:
It is the responsibility of all girls to ensure that they are eligible for promotion by the appointed time. Please ensure that you have completed all necessary.
Failure of which, their promotion will be withheld from them.
All promotions have to be agreed upon by all Officers and teachers in the company.
Attendance for each year’s ATC will be a promotion consideration.
PBB Eligibility Criteria
PIONEER BRIGADER BROOCH ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1.-Completion of the entire Pioneer syllabus before her 18th Birthday.
-Wearing all badges on uniform (BK, HA, S, P, E, S, Home, Church, Community, World,
Brigade International, First Aid, Expedition, Healthy Attitudes II, Service, Drill Stage 1, others)
-Senior Pin
-Pioneer Pin
2.The girl MUST know the local and international Brigade Knowledge.
3.-The submission for the Pioneer Brigader should be sent in as original copy and signed by Captain and endorsed by the School Principal.
-Form completed and signed by Captain
-Signed by Principal
-Recent photograph of the girl attached
