Dates of Drill Stage One Practices

Hey girls who will be taking drill stage one test this February!

Please take note of the training dates:

Thurdays, 3pm-5pm : 11 Feb, 18 Feb, 25 Feb(last training)
Saturdays, 7am-9am : 6 Feb, 20 Feb , 27 Feb (TEST)

Do take note that attendance is compulsory and punctuality is important.
Attire will be mufti shirt and school skirt. (Unless told to wear FULL U)
Remember to bring your coated boots and bring nametag.

Please remind and encourage each other to come for the trainings.

30 Jan 2010 Parade

Hey girls,
This is the schedule for this week's parade!
Please report in school before 9am!

9-915am: Roll Call
9.15-10am: Devotion
10-10.45am: Badge work
10.45-11.30am: Drill
11.30-12.15pm: Games
12.15-12.30pm: Roll call

Attire:
Sec 1: No.1 Tee , School skirt & shorts
Sec2 to 3: Mufti, School skirt/Nco Skirt & shorts

Things to bring: Bible, Stationary, Waterbottle, Boots and Nametag

For sergeants attending the Leadership Conference, please report at 8am in National Tee and NCO skirt. LC will end around 5pm.

Stage one drill practice will be from 7am to 9am.
Please remember to bring boots!

GB MEETING 2! (:

Hello GB girls and all the other SEC ONE girls interested to give GB a try!
We are having a LASER-QUEST GAME OUTING this Saturday especially planned for our NEW SEC ONES!

Please report in school at 9.30am!
This is the schedule for this parade!
9.30-9.45am -----Roll Call
9.45-9.55am -----Devotion
9.55-10.15am ----Icebreakers!
10.15-1.00pm ---- LASER-QUEST!!
1.00 pm ---------- Back to School
1-1.15pm ---------Roll Call
This meeting will end around 1.30 pm!

Attire for the Sec one girls will be School No.1 t-shirt with School skirt and shorts
Attire for GB girls will be Mufti shirt with School skirt/ NCO skirt

Sec One girls have to bring Water Bottle and a SMILE! :D
GB Girls have to bring Nametag , water bottle and leadership conference form(only girls involved) !
Girls who went Cambodia in 2009 are to bring the Cambodia Trip Booklet and Survey forms.

I am sure this outing will be a BLAST!
Sec One girls are all INVITED to join us this Saturday even those who didn't sign up before!

Sec 1 recruitment

Hey girls.
This is regarding Friday CCA booth.
Please be at concourse by 1.30pm in your Full Uniform.
Remember to have your lunch before you report.
There will be uniform inspection so please ensure your full uniform is in Tiptop condition and please remember to polish your boots!
We will set up our booth at 1.30pm.
You'll have to:
1) Move the tables and benches from the canteen to the concourse and arrange them
2)Bring the things needed from gb room down to concourse
3) Set up & decorate the booth
At 2pm, we will have roll call.
This will end around 5.30pm.
Girls not involved in campfire performance can choose to go home or stay if you want to.
Girls involved in campfire performance are to stay till the the puppet show is over and please remember to bring your puppets on Friday.
That's about all! Further instructions will be given on Friday itself.

Flag Day for all the Gb girls

Hey girls!

This is regarding GB Flag Day on Wednesday, 9th Dec 2009.
Please be in Full Uniform and report at 7.30am sharp at Girls' Brigade Centre.
It will end around 1.30pm and you will be dismissed at GBC too. Please bring along your consent form.
For girls who have not been to GBC, this is the address. It is located near Kovan MRT.

Promotion Criteria

PRIVATE TO LANCE CORPORAL (Must be attained by Oct that year)

Criteria for promotion:
1.Girls must hold service award for the year and have participated actively in company activities.
2.Girls must be 13 years old and above.
3.They must be able to do basic drill.
4.Completed Brigade Knowledge or Healthy Attitudes I Badge.
5.Shown to be responsible and reliable
6.Must have at least attained 75% attendance for all activities
7.Must not have any major disciplinary problems with the school

CORPORAL TO SERGEANT (Must be attained by June that year)

Criteria for promotion:
1.Girls must hold service award for the preceding year and have participated actively in company activities.
2.Has been a corporal for SIX (06) months.
3.Attended ONE (01) Leadership Conference in the current year.
4.Completed Drill Stage 2 Syllabus
5.Completed Brigade International or Healthy Attitudes II Badge + ONE (01) other badge
6.First-Aid Badge
7.Shown to be Responsible and reliable
8.Must have at least attained 75% attendance for all activities
9.Must not have any major disciplinary problems with the school

SERGEANT TO STAFF SERGEANT (Must be attained by Feb that year)

Criteria for promotion:
1.Girls must hold service award for the preceding year and have participated actively in company activities.
2.Has been a sergeant for SIX (06) months.
3.Attended ONE (01) Leadership Conference in the current year.
4.Attain Drill Proficiency Badge I
5.Completed Brigade International or Healthy Attitudes II Badge + ONE (01) other badge
6.First-Aid Badge
7.Shown to be Responsible and reliable
8.Must have at least attained 75% attendance for all activities
9.Must not have any major disciplinary problems with the school

Please note:
It is the responsibility of all girls to ensure that they are eligible for promotion by the appointed time. Please ensure that you have completed all necessary.
Failure of which, their promotion will be withheld from them.
All promotions have to be agreed upon by all Officers and teachers in the company.
Attendance for each year’s ATC will be a promotion consideration.

PBB Eligibility Criteria

PIONEER BRIGADER BROOCH ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1.-Completion of the entire Pioneer syllabus before her 18th Birthday.
-Wearing all badges on uniform (BK, HA, S, P, E, S, Home, Church, Community, World,
Brigade International, First Aid, Expedition, Healthy Attitudes II, Service, Drill Stage 1, others)
-Senior Pin
-Pioneer Pin
2.The girl MUST know the local and international Brigade Knowledge.
3.-The submission for the Pioneer Brigader should be sent in as original copy and signed by Captain and endorsed by the School Principal.
-Form completed and signed by Captain
-Signed by Principal
-Recent photograph of the girl attached
